I purchased the SAS 92 Ford Explorer. The truck runs great and the underside is very clean. Front passenger axle is broken but I'm getting a Dutchman alloy axle to replace it. I also need a spare for the rig. Other than that, I want to build a roll cage inside, clean up the rear and put a box in it for storage and other ideas as they come along. 1992 Ford Explorer 4.0L V6 Engine Mods: -KKM True-rev intake -Hypertech chip Exhaust: -hi-flow cat -flowmaster force II catback Differentials and lift: Front: -HP Dana 44 -narrowed 5 3/8" on the pass side -getting a Dutchman alloy shaft on the passenger side -stock shaft on the driver side. -CTM u-joints -5.13 gears and No-Spin Detroit locker -WH 5.5 coils -1.5 x .25 wall DOM steering links using tube inserts, and 3/4" heim joints -superlift adjustable track bar -Cage Off-Road extended tubular arms *new* -cut down bronco coil towers and F-250 shock towers -RS 9012X shocks. I test drove that Explorer back in October/November 2006 with the original owner. It's a nice rig. I almost bought it cause my other Explorer was taking waaay too long, as far as finishing it up. I hope to see you (and the rig) out on the trails in the next few months. Hopefully my rig will be done by then. I'm glad it stayed with a local... Congratulations...
