Well, I got my XJ on all fours (finally!!), albeit temporarily. I just mocked up the front end to make sure nothing was going to hit or bind. It's back apart now, so I can paint it & install the R&P. Then its back under the truck for the last time. I still have yet to get longer brake lines & shocks, but thats about it. FINALLY! She's now at 8" of lift - rear D44 has Rustys 6.5" springs + 1.5" lift shackles, front D44 has Rustys 8.5" coils w/ custom built offset 3 link using a combination of RE SuperFlex joints & Evolution Machine EVO joints. It's got 37X12.50-15 Swamper SSRs.

Looks good but did you do a steering box brace? With 37's your going to want one for sure. What gear ratio are you going with? Lockers?
"Then its back under the truck for the last time".
You better be knocking on wood like a madman ;D

I have a steering box framerail reinforcement plate - yeah I've seen the pictures & heard the horror stories - don't wanna go there!
I'm putting in 5.13s w/ Detroit Lockers front & rear - I could've gone w/ lower gears but I don't want the RPMs to be outrageously high on the pavement. If anything, I'll put in a 4:1 low range on the T-case.

I had 4:56's in my old XJ with 33's and that worked pretty well. 5:13's and 37's will be pretty good, but I think your going to want that 4:1 sooner than later. Do you have a SYE kit yet? Are you going to take a sawz all with you on the shakedown run? ;D I think your going to get into you front fenderwells pretty good.

Thanks for the compliments!
I think you're right about wanting the lower T-case gearset soon! I had 4.10s with my 33s & at time it was marginal for crawling. If only I had an NV4500! ;D
Part of my buildup was putting in a AA SYE. No doubt I'll have to do some more fender trimming! I think I'll have to cut the ends off my front bumper too.

It came out of an '86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I picked it up from Mission Auto - they used to have TONS of Jeeps, but I think they started crushing most of them.
