Looking good. I used to be a YJ guy, but with the recent purchase of my M38A1, I've really gotten into the old school Jeeps. I look forward to watching this build take place.

Very sharp CJ - nicely done. Just one question...whats the drip pan underneath the front end for?

Had just changed front axle lube. BUT... I do have several minor leaks I'm working on. Starting from the front. Hoses to radiator from trans. cooler lines, p/s pressure hose, crankshaft front seal, torque converter seal, and 300 transfer case bottom plate gasket. Drips rarely hit the ground, but I want to fix them before they get worse. I have a long list of other projects too, so probably want see a trail this spring.

If a jeep dont leak something, then it must be empty.

Still work in progress update. I know the spare tire is silly. What can I say, I'm still an asphalt lover. Removed gas tank and de-dented cradle. painting in progress. AMC 20 out for Yoke. pinion seal, axle seals, trac-lok clutches, and a good degreasing and paint. Would like to get tubes welded to center hsg. Replacing some spring bushings, which someone overlooked when jeep was lifted. Replacing all fuel hoses while tank is out. Yes thats a 2x4 holding up transmission and transfer case to changed auto trans fluid, replace front yoke seal on dana 300, and new rear mount. Lots more work to do but these are projects in progress now. Thanks to Slick for valuable info he's provided.

Shucks, I'm glad I could put that info to use! Let me know if you need an extra set of hands to help with all that work.
