Guess I never put these up, thought I did, no matter. Enter the PushMobile circa late 2001. That's not staged, that's actually how it got into the backyard (flatbed brought it here). 2003 in Ouray, CO. I'm the middle rig, not the pretty one. Down near Tx Canyon in 2004 on the way back from Safford. Not much had changed by then except for dumping the 2-piece D44 rear axle that I broke in CO. This brought about 2 years of collecting and trading parts for what became the "Summer of Love" (yea, right). Took longer than I thought to do all this. A little mid point before and after. Started to feel a bit top heavy. Actually started to come together after about Day 25. In the process it got sealed up (I love my AC). A little more bed work took place before I had to go back to work. Along with some suspension testing. Topped off with 3 weeks to build a back bumper. So little time, so much needed to be done. I have to thank my FSJ friends for a lot of encouragement.

Your rig has definitely morphed over the years! Normally I'd be upset at someone chopping the rear out of a Cherokee, but you did an awesome job of it!

I appreciate the compliments, still some odds and ends to clean up/replace/repair or build, time moves slow during the school year. I've watched your run schedule as close as I can, (things seem to move around on this board and then I can't find them later) so far it has not worked into the schedule, I spend 1-2 weekends a month in NM working on a little place we have there.
No big deal cutting this Wagoner, it served it's time in both Boston and San Francisco prior to winding up here. It came with enough rust that most folks would have crushed it. If it was not for the AC I'd toss the doors, cut some more and just cage the poor thing.

Again, nice rig but I were you, I would build, or have some rock sliders built before you slip off something and bend up a rocker panel.

Again, nice rig but I were you, I would build, or have some rock sliders built before you slip off something and bend up a rocker panel. It's in the plan someplace. Honestly, I do not have any rockers worth saving, I have holes big eough to stick a foot into. I'm going to cut them out and just scab some tube in place.

I really like the look of the "quad cabbed" FSJ's. if you ever want to paint it, I have an HVLP spray gun that I just tested out on my front bumper. Works pretty good. I like your rear bumper.

Wow, can't believe folks are still interested. Much thanks, I'm out and about as the schedule permits. Would really like to do a Coke Ovens trip around Xmas or early January. I've never been there.

Wow, can't believe folks are still interested. You are way too humble! But, that's a good thing. There are far too many cocky folks out there.

Nice rig. I got to see it first hand Tueday morning. I jumped on Grant from Country Club around 5:30 am. We passed each other a few times till I hit 10. Good looking rig, looks like it rides pretty decent too. Your spare tire wiggles around a bit though. Is the mount just through the sheet metal?
Now, paint it up in some primer and call it done!

Hey, yea, that's me, Tuesday - Thursday in the Wag (Mon & Friday get the littlle Silver Nissan 2X). I'm right around the corner off of Dodge and Grant.
Thanks for the heads up on the tire, just got back in from checking it, it's not going anyplace but I still have two more bolts to stab in there with the backing plates, right above my tank of course. Wanted to get it done last weekend but got side tracked trying to get the winch back on the front. Someday, it will be done Thanks,

Chimney Rock? Those oldies were goodies! Yes, Chimney Rock, about 2 weeks ago. Working on getting my winch back on in a smaller, more compact, less air blocking package.
