Should at least take the rear one out, you dont even need it, and if you leave it on and do some good flex you end up bending the links for em anyways remove it. leave the front on though until you can get some disco's

Nice looking rig. I think I am going to have the same problem with the sway bars. Right now I am trying to decide between a 2" TT and shackles or a 3" body lift.

Putin a little bit of money into it finally, now why would you want to wheel a pos unibody jeep? sounds like fun, new parts are always a good time.

figured id update this.... (that means im bored) im just copy and pasting stuff ive posted the last 6 months from another site i frequent i ripped the pipe from the muffler back off on a rock so now i just have a turn down i took out the rear sway bar one of the blots on my front swaybar can off when i was driving and ripped the pressed in bushing on the endlink so now i have no swaybars i took out the pro crap springs and put in some RE 3.5 coils and 2 inch pucks got kevins sliders on and used them:D went wheelin this weekend heres some pics... it was more of a trail ride and we camped out so nothing to hardcore. but somehow i did manage to rip my LCA mount on my axle in half heres a pic of it when i first noticed it.... drove it some more on the trail and then home so its alttle bigger now.. just about all the way off. (the crack is next to the weld on the right)

ok i went to the junk yard the other day to get a lid for my center consle .... i saw this under an exploder and just asked how much they wanted .... the girl said she didnt know and asked what i would pay... i told her (lieing) that i could get it at a junk yard in pheonix for $175 and she said that she would take that... Sooo.. instead of getting a $5 center consel lid i got an 8.8... haha It is out of a 1996 ford exploder with 109,000 miles and has 4.10 gears and limited slip. heres what it looked like when i bought it.. (sway bar and ebrake cables came with it.. anyone need them?) i took off all the unnessesary crap then took off the cover and drained the sludge (no metal shavings so im happy heres a picture of the limited slip carrier took out the shafts and brakes and here is how it sits now. Plans.... i will be installing it with the factory limited slip for now but will prolly get a locker in a few months i will be wireing it to keep ABS but putting a toggle on the ABS to turn it off when off road using brackets off of an old d35 regearing front d30 to 4.10s More to come

The tire eventually tore off the bumper. Then i trimmed the front fender... looks good ill get pics when i can.. Tires are 34" Interco LTB's Wheels have 3.75 backspacing

That's gonna look nice when you're done. You leaving the plastic bumper off?
So what's wrong with it that you can't drive it?

yeah im leaving the plastic off... goin to fab up a skinny bumper in the future with a stinger and winch mount like this one but with more support on the stinger as for whats wrong with it... the y-pip cracked almost in half right before the o2 sensor so in order to keep it movable (move from driveway to driveway) i had to cut off everything behind the sensor (cat and all) to take the stress off the crack

Very nice... So looks like your tow hooks are going to be the first thing to hit in the front. You gonna tuck them under the frame, or is your new bumper gonna cover them?

well right now the tow hooks hit before the radiator so they will stay like that for now but when i build the new bumper i will be building a new radiator support with d-ring mounts that will be further up out of the way.
