I mentioned earlier that I'm a PowerNerd. Well, as such, I have no "rig", only a 2000 Honda Civic that I love very much. Anyway, I wouldn't be a nerd if I didn't have a computer that pretty much owns every other machine IN THE WORLD. 1.5 terabytes storage space 4GB high-performance RAM timed at an agressive 2-3-3-6, 200MHz 2 Pioneer DVD-[Everything] Drives [-R, +R, RAM, CD-R/RW...] Dual-Core Opteron 195 [2.0GHz / core] 2 ATI Radeon X1600XT GFx cards in CrossFire [parallel] Auzentech X-Plosion THX/Dolby [realtime 5-channel upmixing] 750 Watt PSU and my favorite stat...19 FANS [5 of which are visible] 2 1100 Watt amps [only one is visible] 2 800 Watt 3-way speakers 2 600 Watt Subs [not visible] Bose DiamondCore 5.1 setup [also, not visible] Stereo for an additional 800 Watts, if needed Another computer [P4, 256Gfx] for the slave tasks 21-inch monitor complete with an autographed picture of Mel Peachey Latitude D800 running both Windows XP and Mac OSX Desktop-Extended monitor with hot Anime girl on the screen in Photoshop

Is what animation..? If you're referring to the pictures, you're incorrect. It's totally real.

Thats a nice setup. The only thing that is holding you back is your 7200 rpm harddrives. If you are gonna have 4 gb of ram, might as well shoot up to 10000 rpms. I have close to the same setup except I have the 10000 rpm harddrives and can tell a diff between them and 7200s. I think you still got me beat tho. I have my ati cards in crossfire like you but they are x850s instead of x1600s. Very nice man. Thats an awesome mobo too. ASUS rocks. Is that an alienware case or just the fan?

It's just the fan cover. I love my setup (and love yours, too). The 10k harddrives haven't won me over yet. The heat dissipation to throughput ratio is way toooooo high. My drives are SATA2 (don't be fooled by the 4-pin Molex on the two middle drives) so the throughputs approach 3GB/s as a limit..!
