Yeah, the Dodge made it suck, lol. After you left Rob, I just closed the garage doors, and took a shower, lol. I am gonna finish all the welding on the passanger side tomorrow, and hopefully, get the drivers all tacked up (this way, we can modify it as needed when the truck is infront of me).

Alright Slick - Got all the structural welds finished on the pass side slider. Now, all I need to do, is cut the 2" plate to cap off all the ends, then cut and drill the mounting brackets... busy day today. Man, these are alot of work, lol....

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it! ;D I appreciate all the hard work though. Dodge definitely did not have sliders in mind when they designed these trucks!

Here ya go Slick. The passanger's side is completely DONE, save the frame mounts. I still need to cut those out of the plate, and go from there. But, as you can see, everything is plated, there are no open ends, and I even ground the welds down on all of the ends, so it looks a little cleaner. This thing is just about ready for paint. Tomorrow, or even tonight, I need you to go to Home Depot, or Ace, and buy some paint, as well as the mounting hardware. Pick up Grade 8 bolts, size 1/2" dia, 1" long. Also get some lock washers and nuts (same size, duh). You will need a total of 12 sets of bolts, washers, and nuts. Probably 2 cans of Flat black will do. If you want to use rustoleum, we don't need to primer. Call me if you have any questions. Anyway, here are the pics I took just now:

Rob, forgot to mention flat washers too... I got the mounting plates drilled for the pass side, as well as the backing plates... just need to true em up. Had to cut em with the sawzall, and one got a little wavey, lol. Unfortunately, I didn't get the driver's side tacked, or even cut. It will go FAST tho, since I have all the measurements to go off the passanger side. You will have sliders by the end of tomorrow,

Wow, looking good! I'll swing by Ace in the morning and get the hardware, paint, etc. And to be sure, what's your definition of "the end of tomorrow?" I can't stay out too late, cuz I've got to be at work at o'dark early Sunday morning.

Big kudos to Greg! He finished fabbing up the sliders today. Turned out to be a bit more work than either of us anticipated. Still have to shoot some paint and actually mount them, but the tought part is done thanks to Greg. Here a couple more shots...

As of yet, they are not mounted. I got home after dark Saturday, and don't get another opportunity until Thursday, but already have plans with the Doc for this weekend. ;D I might get them mounted next week.

Not by Bob I just helped install them. And I must say they look pretty nice. Thanks Greg (here's your wave man ;D) . Well worth thrashing myself a bit to help with the installation. Slick will get some pictures up within the next couple of days. Work schedules haven't presented an opportune time to take worthy pictures of the beast. ;D
