After the last run Slicks RC had a bad case of smacked cross member. We checked it out and all it does is mount the rear of the skid plate so with a little 1/4" plate a few holes and a weld or two this is what Slick and I came up with. The new cross piece sit's almost 4" higher on the drivers side.

Once again, big thanks to Bob! Went over expecting to discuss options and draw up plans, and ended up with a cross-member that offers more clearance than stock and doesn't weigh a ton!
Oh, and out of curiosity I found out that the fuel tank does sit on the left side on some 2wd models and possibly the pickups, which kind of explains the cross-member's droop.
