With the help of my wife.We finally got it done. After months of dreaming. The little things made this harder. Some auto stores can't think .The computer rules all and don't know how to use a book.Merle's was the best place by far to take the extra steps to find what you need.I tried two u joints and that was rough.the straps for the u joints were the worst. the guy I got my parts truck from tore what he wanted out and cared less if he lost parts I needed.I final went to a wrecking yard to find the right straps. It was easier because i got to use two lifts to swap axles. It would have killed me to do it while on jacks and stands. The only things left are getting a replacement tire because one had a bad hole in the side wall. Also I need to swap brake lines over of the 10 bolt that are longer. The 14 bolt was removed from my 78 k20 The use of lifts made this easy Front ready to go in Zero rates went in.I left it in stock location because I didn't have a 3/4 drill bit to move the u bolt plate forward Had the hummer tires put on stock steel rims. The smaller width helps the bead to stick on at lower pressures done except for the needed replacement tire Nice to be on 37s Pics taken behind my house
