Come on out tonight. Gates open at 4pm. Test and tune. Yes, I do mean run your wheeler. You would be surprised at how many people just run their trucks. One thing I have noticed is, if you do run your Wheeler at the track, it attracts a LOT of attention. I'll be there performing some full throttle tunes on the Vette. If you hava an OBD2 sytem, I can data log it for you. No hard launches in the Vette, easy launches. I just need to data log some full throttle 3rd-4th gear runs.

Back when we lived in Roswell nm.I used to be a crew member for a friend that ran out there. They used to run the crew cab duallys tow rigs if they broke their cars.Nice part about bracket racing.I even seen utility carts race when it got slow.lol Wish i wasn't flat broke.Going to the track is one of my favorite family activates.

Dang, got this one a little late. When's the next one? I wouldn't mind running my rig to see what she'll do.

Slick, you WILL need to have your 4x4 locked in. ;D This was the slickest track I have ever been on. It was impossible for me to even idle off the line. I would leave easier than at a stop light and spin right away, through 1, 2, 3 and then wheel hop. I was just squeezing the throttle, lift and peddle. Usually I just drive through the wheel hop and then it hooks up. Not there.. It is slicker than a wet road there for street tires. I wasn't the only one complaining too.. I watched a JR. dragster spin its tires about 200 ft, get sideways and hit the wall. Later a 14 second Nova hit the wall. Definitely need big tires to run there. Or no power It is a very nice looking little track. Cars move through the lines quickly. Just plain Horrible track prep.

Have to meet up the next test night. In the past the track conditions have been pretty good, might have been the cooler temps along with the prep.

Eh, it's all good. My motor is rated at 190hp, and the kinked up exhaust probably chokes it down a bit lower. Bummer the prep was so poor this time.

Have to meet up the next test night. In the past the track conditions have been pretty good, might have been the cooler temps along with the prep. I have been on a lot of cool tracks, some down right cold. (Denver in January.) I watched them prep the track before the runs began. No VHT was sprayed at all. Just dragging tires. Probably, I would hope, they spray VHT down for the bracket races. I would assume they wasn't putting any down since it was a test and tune. I actually was running times at this track, slower than I ran in Denver at Bandimere, when the car was bone stock with runflats. At Speedword outside of Phoenix, I ran consistent 11.50s on these tires and a road race suspension setup. Here I couldn't full throttle till I was going almost 90 mph. The street has more traction then that track did yesterday for street tires. It could be that this old dragracer just can't handle the power anymore when it breaks 100hp. ;D I'll just bring my CTD for the next runs. I enjoy bombing people with it anyways. If the Scout had good tires on it, I would put E85 in it and run the boost up. So, let me know when you want to go and I'll bring the Dodge. We'll have DODGE WARS!!!!!!! Datalogging did show I am running too lean still with -4* spark retard added. So it is lean enough to knock. Looks like the next test and tune is 5-25-07. www.sirace.com/2007schedule.htm

I think it would be cool to have the 4x4 wars at the track. But many of us have cuts and nicks in our tires and doubt they would get through tech.

My truck is a dog. 0-60 in a week and a half, hah. Now, playing in the sand on a LEGAL trail would be fun... 4x4 races, that's cool.

I live near the san pedro river. It would be cool to have a event down here.the river has always been a play ground for off road vehicles.Lots of sand.Very little water.I have heard storys of sand drags there.

Two of them have cuts in the sidewall plugged with about 7 plugs in each. I plan on attending the May 25th T&T in the Dodge. We should also have a new 2007 Dodge 3500 6.7 CTD to run against too. I have already been smack talking him. Smack talking works at the track. I raced with the Scottsdale Exotic car club before and was lined up next to a 1,200 hp TT Viper. Sitting in the staging lanes right next to him, as we were putting our helmets on, I told the guy "How many car lengths do you want me to spot you?". I said it with a strait face. The guy was so pissed. He smoked his tires off the line and never caught me. ;D I treed him bad too. It was the only chance I had. We were running heads up.

Honda! You know you will need some V-tech stickers to fit in. ;D I was thinking about putting "GT-R", on my fenders with shoe polish on the Dodge. I screwed up with the 2007 CTD Dodge. It won't be here till June. I'll have to find a spot outside of town and spank him. I am certain I could take it off the line, but I think it will go around me on the top end of the 1/4. Of coarse I will line up to the left of him so he gets a full blast of smoke.
