On my Tacoma I have a horrible squeking noise coming from the front driver's side wheel area, where the CV runs through, around the Upper control arm. When I drive with no pressure on the brakes it squeks, but when I apply the brake it stops. It is so loud that it turns heads when I drive past people. I dont think it is the brakes because I just had the brakes serviced and pads changed at Precision. Also my emergency brake light is always on despite the E brake being off. Does anyone know what this might be caused by?

The rotor could have been glazed when the new brakes broke in.Take some fine sand paper and score the rotor a little.I have seen problems like this and this is what they usually turn out to be.take it back to the shop.Any good shop should check it out for free since it may fall under warranty
