most of you guys have been here for a while. Im looking for a camping spot not to far way from tucson. For the first week of nov. im looking for a "river" or lake for fishing (a must water that is) or if not thats ok i guess lol and a must for dogs
if anybody know of a good place and have pics or links or something to check out that would be cool
oh yea ive been to patagonia it was ok but just want something diffrent you know

There is 4 or 5 nice lakes in that area just accross the street more or less is Apache lake About the only thing that is closer is Patagona (sp) It's not too bad fishing is ok the other lakes have a lot better fishing for the most part but then againg they are futeher away and in my opnion worth the drive how ever it will be cold up there at that time of year and you could get snow ;D

Up north you have, Saguaro, Canyon, Apache, Roosevelt and San Carlos, up on Mt. Lemmon is Rose Canyon, and up on Mt. Graham is Riggs lake those are the closest. If you want to drive further out there is Big lake and the Black River over by Alpine.

Parker Canyon to the south a little over an hour.

The only thing about apache is right now it is ver low. they are doing repairs to the dam. thats why i didnt recomend that. That is the only lake we usally go to.

Ok well that makes sence, I know that last time I was up there I really liked it up there and thought it would be a perfect place, that and they have that trail run in that same area too!
