Well I have a 4' one but I am trying to make room for a 5' one for future up grades on my pig. Cause when the budget permits I am going to get revolvers and bigger tires gears. So right now I am just trying to get an idea. If I need to come up with a way to mount a 5' for later on down the road.

Would you really need the 5' seems like the 4' would be plenty.

Would you really need the 5' seems like the 4' would be plenty. With my setup (revolvers, custom springs, and 36's, I have over 14" of shock travel, which means by the time the high lift even gets to my rock rails, a 4' would have to go another 14" to get a tire off the ground... So basically... 48" hi-lift 33" to my rock rail 14" travel 47" of lift required to even pick a tire up...so, in my case for sure, a 60 is needed....

Well if it takes 47" of lift to pick up a tire looks like 48"s is just the ticket, you got one extra inch to play with

Not to mention the headpiece on a hi-lift, while removable, comes with the jack and takes away 2 inches while the foot piece takes away another 1 inch or so...now your left with a 47" jack... I'm not arguing that a 48 will not work...Hell, the one that Dragon51 has is my old one, and I used to use it, but the 5' works SO much better and more efficient with a setup like mine.

I have a 4foot one andthat is good enough for my truck. I have used mine alot at the other house moving stuff and leveling the shed, comes in really handy.

I don't have one, but on one jeep trip someone else used their's to jack up my jeep after I lost the bead on a tire. Then someone else blew up my tire with his on-board air... so thanks to friends, I was off and running again. Bill
