The base I work at will finally be at full staffing in Oct and I will finally have a few days between work and school for a trail run. I have been wanting to take the wife and kids accross the Apache Trail between Mesa and Roosevelt Lake.
I wanted to see if there was any interest here in joining us for a family trip, then would have it added to the the trail run. My thought was to meet out at Oracle Junction, head for AJ, do a stop at the little mining / ghost town tourist trap at the base of the Superstitions. Then hit the trail with a stop at one of the lakes for some lunch, and "little people tossing" with the kids in the water for swimming. If the water temp and day time temp permits. Can always hit a few of the side trails?
This would be open to all, as no 4wd would be needed, unless we go off the beaten path. I would certainly have to take the M416, so lots of room for ice chest lawn and lawn chairs.
We can come back the way came, or come through Globe? Let me know, would like to see as many go as possible, depending on everyone's availability.

That sounds like a good time there, its also real nice in there too! I don't think I can make it up there right now if it was a local one then. But some I would like to do some wheeling, fishing and camping some time up there that would be a lot of fun! Just don't have the time, or money right now.

I would up for that depends on the day, or if I can get a day off.
