If your staying on the normal road, then your rig wont even start breathing hard. Never had the time or the rig to do any real exploring around the gate 7 area.
Mmmmm, bear! That sounds like it would go good with the mesquite. ;D

A few pic's of the weekend the cheavy did good for a test run it belongs to a friend(Ron) we are working on him to join the site. The money shot of Parker lake. Zulu getting in some wheeling, hey it's 4 wheel drive so it counts right. Ron getting into a mud hole at a creek crossing. This is a steep hill on the way to gate7 that Ron has made with his wrangler so he gave it a shot with the cheavy couple deep ruts at the top that make it hard to crest in a full size rig. The trail up to gate 7 has errodded abit in the last few years and there is some good wheeling to make it to the gate on area has some good size steps to get up.over all some great trails in that area to run.

Looks like a great time! Alot of that scenery reminds me of back East, with the rolling hills and mud. Very pretty, but hell on people with allergies.

Z it's straight down 83 to the end or you fall in the lake.about and hour and few minutes south.Great camping places there is also a camp ground by the lake but why pay when theres plenty of places to go.Also there is a ghost town there to see(sunnyside).

A camping run sounds like fun once the weather cools a little.

Just got back from the other house and it was great, the temps never went above 72 during the day and at nite was about 63. There are places that are really pretty to camp besides the camp ground. About 1 mile east of my house there is a place where you can camp under some big trees and have a real good time. Right now down there it has rained every day and monday nite we had a wicked hail storm, it looked like it snowed there. Didn't really want to come back here today but i have to be at work tomorrow.

We should plan a camping trip for October.

If you guys camp at the campgrounds there are two one on the right and one on the left, the left one is for tents and at the end of the circle there are a bunch of spaces, they charge 10.00 per nite and there are potties and water, and just a short walk down the hill is the lake.

I've been wanting to go camping lately, and fishing would be pretty cool. If we do an October trip, maybe later October, like the weekend of the 21st or the 28th. I would really like to go, but I have commited to being a best man for my buddies wedding... October 14th, in Wisconsin.
