Over all we all made it threw, however there were problems right after my second run I hit a deep spot and hyrolocked the motor that was fun.No damage dried out the cyclinders and right back in the mud.The big issue was each time we tried to go deeper, but after all was done we all made it home for another day.

I love mud, and I hate it. It is fun to play around in, but not fun to wash off the truck afterwards. Also, my Troopers alternator does not like mud at all. 1 run through a deep mud puddle will kill the alt.

I did that whole when my truck was bone stock and almost didn't make it one last kick for dear life on the throttle and I got out. Funny I haven't felt the need to try mud runs since then hummmm

Generally, if I can go around the mud as opposed to going through it, I will go around.

Not to sure since ive only done the trail when it was dry out there but there should be some good mud holes after a little rain out at Chimney Rock on your way out when leaving the rock. Ill have to check it out sometime to find out, not a big fan of mud though. Have had a few bad experiences but good pictures.

I've done the chimney rock trail a few times and it seems like there should be mud out there. The last time I did it was a few days after a big storm and there was hardly anything. Guess it takes a lot to get the mode going.
