Count me and possibly +1 to go.
The only thing that might stop me, is my bro is coming down from Phoenix. We are going to so some work on his 06 Charger R/T. I am going to try to talk him into coming down late Friday, and go wheelin with us on Saturday... would be kinda cool.

Ya know, I got to thinking...(yea, I know thats dangerous)...
Anyway, if someone has a small chainsaw that they would be willing to bring that would be great. The last time I ran this trail, it was pretty tight in some places, and hard to negotiate. I'm not planning on cutting entire trees down, just doing a little trail maintenance so I do not put a whole through my soft top or any other damage to anyone else's rig. The trail could use a light brushing.
Post up if you have one you can bring, otherwise, I'll grab the one from my work.

Still should be a fun run better than sitting at home watching the Power Block on speed. ;D I hear ya. I really don't want to be driving all over Tucson getting fitted for a tux, buying wedding rings/bands, seeing the photographer. Ugh. Anyone wanna take my fiance out so I can go wheelin It's okay, I will record Extreme 4x4... Jessi is hot Those other guys they picked up to replace Stacy on Trucks are homos... I really don't like em.

Just convince the wife that wheeling is the way you meditate ;D...and reach that place that calms and relaxes you....um...so you can deal with all the stress of the wedding ya! ;D stuff and fist thing after you get back then you will get the other stuff you need. Heck just convince her to go with Well it sounded good any ways.....Been there done that don't miss it at all...Then in my case throw in getting the car totaled out with my now wife in the car, by a south of the boarder driver into the mix The ambulance ride to the ER for both of us. (no serious injurys thank the lord)...Ya that was fun But now going on 5 wonderful years!

I'm assuming you are reffering to brushing the trail.... When was the last time YOU ran Chimney Roger? Down through the wash coming out or going in at MM14? Last time I ran it, my rig BARELY fit through some places and it scratched the living daylights out of my rig in many many places. Not to mention the few trees that came back and smacked me in the face and head through my open window... Now, I know there are going to be rigs taller than I am on this coming run (Jim with his spare tire) and if I barely fit, whats in store for him? Chimney is in need of a light trail brushing simple as that. We are not modifying the trail, nor are we cutting down entire trees. Please remember that this is a forum, and just posting "yikes" can be misconstrude in many different ways...as stated, please elaborate further. From what I can gather, you don't like trail brushing? (Even though they do it on every major trail in the US (Rubicon, Moab, Tellico, Hammers)...just to name a few...

I agree with archangel. Last time I ran that trail there were a few places where I had to do some tricky negotiating to not rip my soft top and I barely fit through most of the trail. Remember, I have a full size blazer. I have no problem with a little trail maintenance.

About 10 years ago when i had my double wide being delivered to parker canyon, three feet of tree limbs had to be cut off so the each section wouln't get ripped up. A couple days later the forest service stopped by the house and asked me WHO CUT THE LIMBS OFF THE TREES, i told them that i didn't know, well they proceded to tell me that i could be charged with destroying THEIR trees and that if they found out who cut them that they would take them to court and charge them with everything that they could cause those trees belonged to the forest service, and people did not have the right to destroy them. Well that was ten years ago and the trees are doing just fine. The forest service is goverment and they think that they are god almighty.

!!!!! YIKES II The Sequel !!!!! Whatever Roger... Again...I'm not talking about cutting entire trees down..most of the limbs I have in mind are smaller than my god damn ring finger in diameter...I have bigger weeds in my back yard.... this is getting stupid.

Well, it's getting close!! ;D How many of y'all are actually going? James, if it's all small stuff that needs to be trimmed I've got a set of loppers with extend-able handles. I can bring them. Quieter than a chain saw, doesn't draw unwanted attention. Was hoping to get done early today to tinker with my rig but right now I'm in my truck sitting outside Concentra. One of my guys got hurt today and I'm waiting for him to drive him home. Guess I'll have to tinker another time. ;D
