This truck is near me. I left a note asking if it was for sale some time ago and he called me today with the info. The front end has some damage (bumper is beat up and the grille is missing), and it doesn't pass emissions. It's been sitting for three years because of it. The carb was rebuilt, and the O2 sensor checks good, but it won't pass. It has approximately 120,000 miles on it. Manual tranny, working A/C. He has chains for all 4 wheels (for the snow on Mt. Lemmon). Overall the body is in fair shape. He'd like $1000, but will consider reasonable offers. He has extra stuff, but wouldn't go into detail, and it's not included, but could be negotiated into the deal. He can be reached at 663-6789 from 9AM-6PM during the week, or 881-4992 on the weekend.
IMHO, it sounds like a good candidate for a V8 swap, and a winch bumper. As it sits, it's got BFGs (look like 33s) and has decent ground clearance.

I'm not buying it because I already committed to buying the '84 RamCharger which I'm set to pick up tomorrow.
And what's wrong with having a fleet of Vespas?! Paint em all up like bumblebees.... er, nevermind.

Can you get some photos of it online here? I'd be curious to see what it looked like...I bet we can get it sold for the guy.
