Ha! So far there seems to be the same people here as in Planetisuzoo! Surely there must be others out there?!

When I started to build my sas Nissan, one of the people that helped me the most was a guy named Dallas and his rig the Stink Bug. He built that thing in the street in front of his house. Now it is common to see built suezoos, and Nissans, and Az. seems like the capitol of them. ;D

That reminds me, my rear axle is a d44 from a Rodeo. Great axle, the shafts are as big as a d60 shaft except where they neck down for the splines. Never had a problem with it, and a Detroit locker and 513 gears fit with no problem also, making it a very low cost disc brake axle, I even got free spare shafts and a bunch of other crud for it from a dood that didn't need any of it.

I knew guys back east running Isuzus before I bought mine, but hadn't seen as many as there are here! Too bad so many of them are yuppy trash blabbing on cell phones... Awesome trucks though, and I wish I had bought one sooner!

Tred, Dallas is a great guy. He builds some very sweet stuff. He has moved up to a shop in California now. His web site is www.stinkyfab.com/. Here is a pic of Dallas spotting me on hells gate in Moab... He just finished his latest Zu-incarnation...the "Super Trooper". . He is also busy assisting with the build up of the new Red Bull Rock-Her for Becca Webster.

Haha, I already told Dallas I have first dibs on the super trooper if he ever desides to sell it! I am sure he would whip one up for you if you have the $$$. Better hurry though, he is becoming more in demand and will probably get famous and want to charge a lot more...Hahaha! All you Zu guys should mark your callandars for the 3rd weekend in May of 07 and come to the greatest Zu off roading get together... ZuZoo Maob. A lot of great people and some really great wheeling. Everything from mild to extreme! ;D

Ah yes, $$$. School and my wife's new car (and my wife, for that matter!) conspire to ensure I don't have enough for all my toys! How well would a 2wd Zu do in Moab?

I can answer that by saying it will do a great job of driving you there. ;D Seriously though, Moab has a bunch of easier trails, just not the big name trails. I think there is a trail ratings list, it's in the Moab Trail Guide book. Some of the trails are just scenic roads, so a 2x4 can do them. However, if it rains, you best boogie on out of there else you be getting stuck bad.

Hey, thanks for posting a link to that site Kyle. I have never een to Moab, but I am going to get out there one of these days, and I want to try and one of the ZuZu Moab runs also. We Isuzu guys need to work on getting a little more love for Isuzu's from the big off road mags.

Hmm, quite interesting. There are alot of longer and scenic trails that I'd go for, especially once lifted. ZuZu Moab 2007?

So far I've done Gold Bar Rim, Poison Spider, Kane Creek, Hotel Rock, Metal Masher, Steel Bender, Fins and Things, Hells Revenge, Cliff Hanger and Gemini Bridge. It is a blast. I will be there IFI don't qualify for the Ironman World Championships. I'll know for sure in April. If you go and want to do some harder trails (2wd guys) there are always open seats!

I may take you up on that if I'm still a 2wd guy. I'm actually supposed to look at a 4x4 Trooper (mentioned in another post) and a Jeep this weekend.

lol, thanks for the offer, but I'd just assume make it over stuff on my own if at all possible. Not to say I wouldn't appreciate help if I get stuck of course!
