Well I don't want you guys to forget about me but I won't be doing to much wheeling for the next month. Maybe a quick jump to chivo. But thats about it. My wife and I are expecting a baby very soon. So I'm kind of on stand by until she goes into labor. It's been kind of rough I had to get another job because I needed to spend more time to with her and it's less pay so money's tight. I should still be able to go this Satuday but well see. When this is said and down I'm planing a very awesome run. Stay tuned. I still want to be part of the club and I will talk to the EL Con guys. You guys have to keep posting up. I still need to get my wheeling fix. This sucks but it's great all at the same time. You know. My wife is going throw so much pain and i can't do anything about it. (that sucks) But when she has the baby it'll be great. Well Have a beautiful little baby boy. I can't wait. So wish us luck and I'll See you on the net.

Yota,
From one dad to a soon to be nother, congrats man. I will just warn you, as far as being a dad.... that first 6 months really stinks, and it isn't just the diapers. Everyone will tell mom what a beautiful baby and what a great job she did. Half of that dna was yours. You will feel a little left out, also all that kid will be interested in is the nipple, from a bottle or otherwise.
At about 6 months, you will come home from work, and your son will look at you, give you that big poop eatin' grin. In realization that you are the guy buyin' the diapers and baby wipes warmer, and you will be proud. Cause it will be that look that says "when are going wheelin', dad?"
As far as the second job. I feel for ya man. I was strugglin' here too till I got the new job. Let us know if you need any help. Kids go through clothes really fast, most are worn only once. I am sure my wife can throw together a box of some hand-me-downs. Trust me we get a box from my sis every 6 months or so. There is a place on Oracle and McGee (in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's) called (I think) "The Children's Orchard," or some kinda orchard. They sale name brand, used kids clothes and other items...CHEAP! Make sure you check 'em out. I guess they have another store on the east side somewhere?
All I gotta say is savor every moment. For all the sleepless nights, times of new worries, wondering sometimes how you are gonna make it. My two kids make life worth while. Make sure you are there for the delivery, if ya can. I have seen a number of them, between my two kids, a couple of emergency deliveries, and to maitain my certification as a medic. I think my brother put it best when he told me after the birth of his own daughter, "how can you not believe in God after seeing something like that?"
Hang in there. It's all gonna be worth it to introduce another native Arizonan to the world of big tires and rocks.
Best wishes, Thom

I agree with Thom26. Sometimes it seems like yesterday that my son was born, now I'm going through the "time to drive" stage. Then in another 5 years it will be time for my daughter.
Just remember ... you have to take all of the good with all of the bad, no matter what comes your way with kids.
Congrats man!

Thanks guys for all the support it is greatly appreciated. I have a little girl already who's two and a half and I agree There is nothing better than being a father. I love my little girl and she likes helping her daddy wrench on "outta here" that's what she calls my truck. I actually quit a good paying job so that I could take care of her and my wife. My job wasn't really flexible and they didn't understand that I couldn't work nights, because I had to take care of my wife. Daycare only last so long. lol But I got another job so that I can still pay the bills.
As far as the clothes goes right on I'm all for it. If you have some clothes that you would like to hand down just let me know.
And the run ... oh yeah...the new baby run...stay tuned you won't be sorry.
