Never installed a CB before so this is my first time, wires arnt long enough to connect to the battery and the instructions say to wire it to a fuse and then ground to the body. I understand the ground wire part but could someone post a pic if they have one of how they connected the positive wire to a fuse???

I wired my CB directly into a hot 12V in the truck. I used the 12V that supply my overhead cab lights (the ones that turn on your truck). Basically, I tapped into that, put an inline fuse, and called it a day. This way, I can turn on the CB radio without the truck having to be on.
Yeah, the Ground is pretty easy... tie it into any metal object on your rig...dash framing, chassis, body, etc. I would recomment removing the paint or coating where you plan on attaching the ground; you want metal to metal contact on those.

I'm sure James will get you straightened out. Just make sure you solder your connections (if you have to extend your wires) and I always use heat shrink tubing.
You can pick up in-line fuse holders at Radio Shack.

Just remember if you "hot wire" it , turn it off when your done using it. I have that problem, so I wire mine so it will not come on unless the truck is running or I switch it to ACC.
