Anyone here been to any of the Baja races? I was thinking of going sometime to check it out. For that matter, I understand there's alot of cool trails and places to check out on the Baja peninsula. Not that I can pack up and head out tomorrow, but I think it would be a cool trip for next year or somethin.

Wow, that just makes me want to pack up and head south right now! Thanks for the links! I smell a roadtrip in early next year (gotta save up some vacation time!).

If you have any questions about Baja, shoot Chris an email, he is a super nice guy.

Cool, sounds like a plan. Looks like the races are held in November, but there's no way I can get enough vacation time for this year. I know the laws are changing on border crossing too, so I'll need to start doing some research. I'll definitely shoot Chris an email.

I have got a friend that has a house down in Punta Bufeo, and his son in law is Andy Grider, and he has a lot of land next to his house. I have an open invitation to get down there and camp out on his beach, but I do not think I will make this year. Hopefully I can get down there next year for the 1000 and help cheere Andy on.

That's cool! I've gotta get some things settled at home, but think next year might be doable for an expedition style trip in Mexico.
