Hey guys.... not really a tech day, but more of a cleanup day...I could use a hand or two to move some heavy junk around my garage tomorrow. I need to get it back in shape before I can tear down my YJ and get it ready for the 26th. These are a few of the things I am doing tomorrow if anyone can lend a hand and is interested in learning a couple things....
Cleaning my garage and getting stuff put where it belongs and make some room for my trailer
Changing my tranny and T-Case Fluid.
Cracking open my D44 and repacking the bearings. (Not sure I'll get to this one tomorrow)
But if you want to come on over, hang out, BS and lend me a hand for a couple of hours, I would be greatly appreciative.
If you plan on coming out, I live right behind the ACE we met at this morning, or you can call me at 520-777-3280. I'd like to get started around noon....
Thanks in advance for any help.
James

Hey James, no problem whatsoever. Not too far at all... only a 30 mind drive. Like I said, I wasn't doing anything anyway, and needed to get out of the house, lol. It was nice meeting your wife and kids Thanks for the compliments, I like your rig too. Lemmeno if you need any help w/ that york bracket. I have some scrap steel lying around in the garage, if you want to save a coupla bux. Come by Saturday, and we'll "git 'r done!" BTW, that diff oil was NAAASSSTTTTYYYY

I actually dug through my scrap pile tonight and found some 1/4" plate...right after I welded the old one back together...lol I'm going to try to repair the old one since the angles and holes are exactly right for the york and my belt setup. Doing it all over again would be a PITA even with the old one as a template. I'm going to severely beef up the old one though. Should make it MUCH stronger...

Hey James,
Don't know if it will help but I may have a York compressor bracket from a 232/258.
If you think it will help you out let me know and I'll see if I can find it.

If we are going to run the Backroad to Mt. Lemmon, I will pass... That will take too much time for me. That is a loooonnnngg run if you do the whole thing. I was hoping for something to get out and play for a couple of hours, and call it done. I guess it is up to you guys now.
