This was a great run. We met up at the Triple T and then headed for Willcox. Got to the trail around 9:30. Ran a couple miles of the trail and then got to a section that was impassible (check the photos and you'll see why) so we went back to the main road and drove to the other end of the trail. We then set up camp and ran the trail from the opposite end. When we got to the impassible section we hiked around for awhile and then headed back to camp. We got the fire going and cooked up some burgers and dogs and ate dinner. Went to bed around 8:30 and man was it COLD! It was in the lower 30's. Got up the next morning and got the fire going and ate breakfast. We then packed up camp and drove around the corner and hiked up to Barfoot Lookout which was a fire lookout tower. The view was awesome. After the hike we headed home. I had a blast. Looking forward to the next one.

We were only maybe a couple miles up the trail before we got to the washout. It worked out ok though because the camp spot was at the end of the trail so we just drove on the main road to the other end.

It did all right for the shake down run. Pulled straight down the highway at 65 with no problems. In the mini rock garden it just followed the jeep, never had to engage the lockers. I'm going to add some rubber to the inside of the lunette eye and the inside of the pintle hook to quite it down and a rubber mat or carpet in the tub to quite down the stuff that bounces around. It'll be nice once I fashion a hard top to it so I can mount my spare, shovel and axe outside of the tub.
