Well i just want to say wow what an amazing trail. Definately a "jeep trail" as some people would say on here, wouldnt be to good of a run for the bigger rigs. We headed out from the Mobil gas station around 11:00 or so and managed to find the trail head with a little guidance from James on the phone. We started heading out and one thing i really liked about this trail was that it wasnt dusty like all the other trails in AZ, for the most part the trail is like a giant Chimney Rock your wheeln on a trail of mostly solid rock with lots of loose giant boulders along the way. Ive decided that "The Wedge" is one of my new favorite spots to play on, we got videos of me coming down and i talked scott into coming down it as well in a TJ on 31s. There is plenty of challenging obstacles the entire way up and even though Scott is open front and rear he made it just as far as i did and did just as well if not better. He sure did make my jeep look like a biotch on one climb though i wish we had video of how much trouble i had going up this thing and then Scott just drove right up it without lifting a tire or getting hung up on a diff. We didnt actually make it all the way to the waterfall in the Jeeps, i made a decision that Scott agreed with that it just wasnt worth it to try and go up this one part without someone there with a winch so we parked the rigs and hiked the last 1/4 mile or so to the waterfall. Was definatelly one of my better runs and want to do it again but i would like to get a winch on the front of my rig to feel a little better about some places. We will have to run it again sometime with more people, see ya on the trails.
