As some of you may know, this is the summer that The Blazer finally grows up (hopefully ). My plan is to swap in a 14 bolt (which I already have) along with a Dana 44 up front then add some 38's and some lockers. So here is what I am looking for: -
Heavy duty dana 44 passenger drop (or just a dana 44 if you have one) GM front Dana 60
- 5 16.5 rims
- 37 or 38 inch tires that will fit 16.5 rims.
If you have any of these items please drop me a PM.

Keep an eye on Craigslist here and Phoenix as well was on there today and they had over 300 post in the auto parts section, but I will let you know if I run across anything. They had one on there a few days ago for $120 out of a chevy on the Phoenix page.

Kyle,
Is there a specific reason you want 16.5's? A 15" rim/tire combo is usually cheaper and easier to come across. at the very least I'd go with a 16" rim, not a 16.5". just my .02

If I stick with the drum brakes on the 14 bolt then I need at least a 16.5 rim. If I convert it to disc brakes then I should be able to run a 15 inch rim. I haven't decided what I'm gonna do yet. I'm also torn between looking for a dana 60 instead of the 44. Everything will depend on cost so we'll see.

Did a little reading tonight about dana 60's and found that If I can find a GM one it will bolt up to my truck with very little modification if any at all. I'm definitely going with a dana 60 now so if you have one or know of one let me know.
