Hey was wondering if there was a way that you could allow the person who started a thread to go ahead and delete their thread in the for sale section or any section for that matter if they wanted to. Like in the for sale section nothing ever gets delelted even if its already sold. Just seems like it would save people some time from trying to buy something from someone that has already been sold. Just a suggestion throwing it out there.

There really isn't a way for a user to delete an entire thread unless they are the moderator of that board. What I can do is start going through all of the threads and those that have not had any activity for say 90 days can be archived along with threads that have been sold in the for sale section. They will not be permanently deleted they will just be moved to and archive section on the board. Everyone will still have access to them at all times. That way once things get sold in the for sale section they can be archived. Let me know what you think.

Sounds good, i was just wondering because on other boards you can delete a thread if your the one that started it. However you want to do it is cool, just thought it might free up some time for the moderators so they wouldnt have to go through everything and see if it was current or not. Your idea sounds good though.
