My name is Steve, im 18 and i was born and raised here in Tucson and i just got into off-roading a few months ago. so far ive only been on a few trails just for the fact that most of my friends have rice burners :/
I've got an 86 yoda with a brand new rte turbo and a little two inch body lift. Anywho, if anyone wants to ride sometime let me know, im always willing to test my truck. :]

I think I saw you at Rincon High tonight. You looked a little muddy. If you went to or go to Rincon, I'm Matt Edwards dad. If you go to IRHS I hope you didn't play football

i would have to agree on the solid axle swap. I have a 99 tacoma ifs that had a 4 inch lift and compared to the tacos with a sas my is not the best for 4x4. I can manage to get by but my taco is a tow and recovery vehicle for my jeep. I think in the long run you would be happier with a sas.

Let some people on here know what direction you want to go in. I am sure most people here would love to help ya out if they can. What do you want to end up doing with your Toy? There is a virtual plethora of axles you can shove under that thing but you need to know what you will use it for, what size tire you want to run, if you like to use the skinny pedal allot, what your wallet can handle etc. There are some company's out there that sell complete install kits for doing SAS's in to Toy's. Or you can get with a company like Ballistic Fabrication (at www.ballisticfabrication.com/ ) that are right here in Tucson and make you own kit. Either way let me know, I'll give ya a hand.

You should post up some pics in the rig section. If you have any questions about building up your truck feel free to ask. There is quite a bit of knowledge on this board and we'd be glad to help out.
