So i've been gone for awhile, been out of the 4x4 scene for a bit and have now come across something that is going to turn it back around and get me out on the trails..
So, I've got an opportunity to sell my car... good idea? i hope! here's what im thinking..
* Sell the car * Take part of the $ from the car, and drop an easy $800 or so into the K5, getting it running and in top shape again, in doing that, still have some cash leftover and look into axles (1 tons baby!)
and go from there...i want no i need my blazer running again! i miss it to much and now i'm looking at having atleast $1600 extra dollars..
should i go for it?? and please real responses or input.. no "im with stupid" smileys ;D

If it was me it would depend on the gas mileage. I have a car that I use when I'm not wheeling my blazer simply because it gets sweet mileage. I would make sure that you can afford the blazer as a daily driver before you sell the car.

the K5 gets roughly 16mpg (gotta love diesels), and with a 31 gallon tank i can average close to 450 miles or so. my car gets maybe 18mpg, so i wouldnt be losing to much.. and it sucks driving a car! i'm putting in some calls to some diesel shops today to get an estimate
