This run is rapidly approaching, and since this is a volunteer effort, we need a few volunteers and supplies. We will be placing six signs along 4405 and 4405a. Each sign will be set in the ground with concrete and tamped dirt.
TOR will be bringing the signs, the posts, and the concrete. What we need from those attending is as follows:
Post Hole Digger (4 Total) Gallon's Of Water To Mix Concrete (12 Total Gallons) Shovels (4 - 6 Total)
Please post up if you can and will bring some of these items. I'll be bringing 5 gallons of water, and I believe that K5 will also be bringing 5 gallons. That will cover 10 of the 12, but I'd still like to see at least 5 more. The additional post hole diggers are merely a contingency. If we only took two, it would be our luck that we would break two...lol Now, if someone has a gas powered auger that they would like to bring, that would be awesome....
The locations of the signs is still open, but we've got some pretty good ideas. With as many rigs that have signed up, we will likely split into two groups. We will caravan as one group to the junction of 4405 and the grand loop. At this junction, we will likely divide into two equal groups, running the grand loop in opposite directions, with each group placing three signs a piece. K5 (Kyle) will be leading the second group. Him and I will select our tailgunners at that point.

Sorry to see so many folks backing out of the run. I'm sorry that its going to be a long day, but there really isn't anything we can do about it. It's a 20+ mile trail, and with that many rigs, its going to be a long day. I hope that you guys who've backed out have a great day otherwise . We'll miss ya on the trail!

I've got a lovely Saturday planned... We are gonna go to Home Depot. Yeah, look at some flooring, maybe some wallpaper. Might go to Bed Bath and Beyond. Don't know if we'll have enough time. But seriously, I do have to go to Lowe's and order a countertop for a bar that I am building. Yeah James, I really wanna go, but I remember getting frustrated when we did this last time, and we got held up...plus it started pouring, and we were in a wash, ;D I wanted out, haha. Even you have to admit that was irritating... If there weren't 20+ rigs going, I'd love to wheel the trail, as it is a fun trail. Who knows, I might still show up

Unfortunately I'm going to have to withdraw from the run myself. Really hate missing it but we have had some complication and I'm not able to get away from home for that long a time.
Hopefully things will get settled out and I'll be able to get out in a couple of weeks to play.
Y'all stay safe and enjoy.

Hey if you guy's had signs made, I hope you have the spelling correct. It's Chiva, not Chivo. Actually, it wasn't too bad. We were off of the trail around 6:30, and that included playing on Three Feathers. I know there were alot of photos taken, just not by me. I just got home from work (yea, I worked on a Sunday ) Anyway, I'll get a trip report written up later tonight or tomorrow. In short, we placed 6 signs, and had around 15-20 rigs...lost count... Great group of people, and an awesome run. The best sign is at the very top of 4405, at 4000 Ft. Elevation.

I just wanted to say thanks again to all of you. I had a great time and cant say enough about how much we appreciate what you have done for Roger. The signs turned out great and we were impressed at how creative/original/functional/stylish the idea water jet cut LOWTECH signs. So cool.
Many Thanks,
Robb
