Shoot it with some matching paint and I'd bet it would look just fine! As is, nice job cleaning and filling the welds.

Looks great Gregg, what did you endup doing for the inside panel? Nothing yet... I picked up an air nibbler the other day, so I am gonna cut some of that extra sheet metal to fill those holes. Then, it will be DONE.

The bumper went back on tight, how much work was it to get sucked in.

It wasn't too bad... I had to cut out the extra bracing I put on originally. It was overkill anyway. Then, I chopped approx 6 inches off the original mounts to make em shorter. This allowed the bumper to come all the way in, but the boxed frame and the plate that I put on the top part of the bumper made contact. I notched the plate to fit around the frame, and a little extra, so I can get the welder in there to weld er up. I am gonna use some of that extra sheet metal I have to make a piece that will go above the bumper, and below the tailgate, so there isn't a huge gap there anymore. All in all, it was a couple hours work, but easy. The crappy part is that I ran out of sawzall blades, and had to improvise cause home depot is a half hour drive away Now, I just need to fab up some mud flap mounts, and cut the sheet metal for inside the bed - you know where I am talking about, Rob.
