Three Jeeps...Two Flat Tires...One Blown Air Line...another fun day. Day started out easily enough. Myself, AzDesertRhino and Dragon51 met up at the Circle K as planned. After airing down and getting all set to go, I get a call on my cell from oozeinevil stating he was at the Circle K at Speedway and Houghton....wrong one...About 15 minutes later, he shows up in a BRAND NEW nissan pickup...less than 100 miles. We spoke about the "effects" wheeling could have on his truck. It wasn't a matter of scratches or pinstriping, it was the lack of ground clearance. He decided to follow us out Reddington road (which was bad enough after all of the rains) So, once we got to the trail head, oozeinevel decided against running the trail and went on his own to explore the reddington area. I hated to to turn him away, but we came do discover, there was NO way his truck would have made it... Now, onto the trail.. Chimney Rock has changed...ALOT due to the rains. Parts of the trail are washed out badly enough that you are not sure if you're on the trail. Thanks to AzDesertRhino's GPS system and his onboard Circuit City, we were able to stay on track...for the record, I only went off track TWICE.... lol Everything was going well, having a good time, and then we got to Bull Springs.... Turns out there was actually water in the pools and a waterfall at the western end...with running water...Quite pretty actually....So, I decided to play in the water...Jim's got the pictures...lol Anyway, I'll write more later...going out to dinner...Here are some pics to tide ya over...

"To give you an idea of how tall the "Step" here really is, look at the legs of AZDesertRhino in the background....It was a good 3 to 3.5 feet tall "
This is what James wrote and i was wondering is there a "step" at chimney rock and at the gap or what were you talking about James???

Wow, now that looks like it was fun! Plus the obligatory carnage! Speaking of carnage...Hey James, there was a terminal pack melted on my intake, and the positive terminal was less than handtight. Found that out lastnight trying to shuffle vehicles around in the dark! Saved the "adventure" of the Kingman trip for home! LOL ;D

We did have a great time out there Saturday.
My wife and I had run that same trail back in April and it has changed immensely since then It was a lot tougher than the last time (in spots).
As James already said, Two lost sidewalls, so now I have an excuse to buy some new rubber. ;D
My first run under the flag of T.O.R. and looking forward to many more.
Won't be able to make the BBQ run, have to be available for work situations on that weekend.
I'm the one holding up the video stuff. Been real busy today. Will try to get it to James asap!!
