Just curious, Are we running the upper loop, lower loop, or both? Not sure which loops your talking about... But we are running past the falls and the trail we are taking heads back towards Tucson, then loops back and we end up at the wash before the falls, where we started...quite a long trip....

I'd like to be in on this one too. I've already got a CB, but a super crappy antenna. So if you are more than about 50 yards away you can talk bad about me all you want. I better get out and practice this rock stuff some more this weekend....

Ok, shameless begging time... Amy (docchaos) and I would like to know if there will be any open seats available on this run. I may have the Passport sold which means I'll be in the RamCharger, but unless I get the axle swap done on my days off, plus get new tires on it, then it's 2wd AND open diff. Not good. I'm not going to rule out having the RC fully operational, but it's going to take alot of work Wednesday through Friday to be up for Saturday.

I've got one open seat. The girl on the Vespa is more than welcome to it.

I think i just got conformation from two more jeeps that they can make this run. One being the polishpathfinder if he is not going out of town and the other being a guy named Nick. Hopefully both of them will make it.

Just wondering if he had a spot big enough for all of the rigs that are going and if there was no shade, i would bring my easy-up. Might just bring that anyways.

alright well im looking at going on this trip with you guys, but it all depends upon if i can get out of what i have to do sunday. just to let u know if u plan on leaving circle k around 9 to do the lower loop which is the longest of the two have fun being back at like 8 or something at night. i know people that have ran it and its a full day trip. just so all of u know the technical terms, when u hit the cattle guard and the big tree u go under, if u go for the next left that would be the upper loop, and fun trail for something that isnt locked and more or less stock or around 32's. if u go the straight shot that would be to the falls, and then if u kinda head back and left and the tree just before the cattle guard that would be the lower loop. i have never done it cause im sitting on 6" and 33's and not locked and stock gears, but from my friend tursi who drives a yota on 37's dual locked and 5.18 and a exo cage, he told me that u will have a tough time making it for me. so anybody sitting lower then me probably wouldnt be able to make it from what i have been told. and then if u go the back way in to the lower or upper loop, then u are looking at going to the falls and then up that hill that is slippery on the right hand side and barely wide enough for a cherokee, and the left hand side is alot of rocks and what not and its not to fun. i almost flipped my jeep there, i had my front right stuffed and my front left fully flexed which is damn far and it was still about two feet off the ground so yeah. its not to pretty. cause if u slip off the right hand side u are tumbling down a long step hill, not to fun. so its alot easier to enter the lower or upper from the main front entrance and go down that hill. i have ran the upper loop several times from the main entrance and came out of top of the falls and went and sat on top of the falls, which is kinda fun cause u can look down the falls. but whoever plans on leading this let me know what trail cause it seems to know that alot of people dont know what the trail names are. and most trucks that are stock or almost stock wont be able to make it on the lower loop, so u are better off doing the upper or chimney. which is a fun trail cause its all rocks and there is alot to do and on the way if its still wet there will be some damn good mud. but let me know whats going on so i can figure out if im going or not cause im not so down to do the lower loop cause its an all day trip and i dont have much money to repair my rig if something goes wrong.

Thanks for the information. I've run the trail several times as well, and I can promise you that your rig would do JUST fine. I've personally seen and (drug) a stock late model dodge dakota through that trail. Only got stuck in two spots...other than that, its a dirt road. I'm the one leading this trip and this will be my 23rd time through Chivo Falls... perhaps I do have the trail name wrong, but its not as difficult as your describing...matter of fact, there is nothing in the entire Chivo area (minus a couple of things at three feathers) that a rig on 33's, locked could not do IMO. Also, considering I have to be in town by 6 PM, we will be done by 4 or 4:30...its about a 6 hour trip.... 9, 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4... Seriously, the gap takes me twice as long as this trail, and I a can be out of the gap by 5 PM starting at 9 AM. Again, just my .02..take it for whats its worth. I've run the trail many times, and I will take any and all input at the start of the trail run,

i know that i can not do the corkscrew in my jeep with stock diffs and stock gears. i am also worried about body damage cause my parents bought the vehicle for me so yeah they would get pissed if i came home with body damage and dents and sh*t and or telling them i rolled my jeep. so yeah if u understand where i am coming from on that one. well thanks for replying and i understand what u are saying i just have never run the lower loop cause dont have the people that would do it with me and dont have the spare parts if i break something. but if i get off what i have to do sunday ill probably be joinging you. and i can show u where the main entrance is to the trail if u would like me to show you. just pick up a map of redington at the circle k and u will see where everything is.

My buddy Alexander (gamedr04) is planning on joining us for this run so he can shoot some footage. I don't have a spare seat in my rig so if anyone could accommodate him I would really appreciate it. He's bringing his Hi-Def camera so he can get really good footage. He will also make us DVDs if we cover the cost of the disc's.
Thanks Kyle

I would think that he needs to be in one of the front running rigs in order to get good shots of everyone....
