I will be there! And I will even give the OLD GUY shotgun! Be at my place no later than 5:50 AM on Saturday. We'll pick up Bob and head north.... Oh, and I'd be careful about that old guy stuff.... I am pretty confident that Bob can whoop your rear...

There was an awesome turnout from the TOR group (approx 15 folks) and a total of approx 30 people on site. YES, TOR, as small as we are, supplied 1/2 the work force. I think that shows an awesome commitment and I'm proud to say I'm associated with such a group. We loaded rock, dug and drilled holes in rock, built a pseudo-wall at the trail head. I think everyone did an excellent job. Your help is much appreciated. I'll leave the real write up to the experts. I did take the opportunity to shoot a few pix. ALSO, while we were all there working, numerous off roaders passed us by in their rigs going our running trails. I took pix of many of them also. Think I should post them up? Some of the people that showed i61.photobucket.com/albums/h44/azdesertrhino/BLM%2009-30-06/people1.jpg[/img]Some of the crew at work More of the folks that showed up TOR and Charlie from VJC load rock Drilling in rock with a gas powered auger

It was a great day good to work for one purpose that may help to keep these trails there for future wheelers, let alone other groups that can enjoy these area's.I had the chance to go up the wash and see the PETROGLYPH's which for me was cool so I could show my twins this history. Here's what I got for pic's and I must say I'm sorry to Jim and Jason they got past me to leave before I got a group photo. Part of the group getting the trailer ready to swap over to James rig. same as above. The loading crew which each trip the trailer showed up for we where told a different type, size, shape and oh yes color was needed. More rock moving This is the washout area that got filled in and the fence post removal to safe someones tires in the future. no winch required. some of the crew on the base sign. the group pic.

Now it's payback time... woke up to a three alarm pain in my shoulders. Better take the Advil with me this morning, or I won't make it through my 12 hour shift.

Had a great day yesterday, and not too worse for the wear. Thankfully have the day off to recuperate and avoid getting my butt kicked by the boss. So, if I ever decide to build a rock wall, I know who to call.... ;D

That is great to hear that TOR made up half of the volunteers for the BLM project. I just wish I could have been there to help.
