In case anyone was wondering...we planned it for the week, becuase the Naxja group will be in Flroence that weekend, already locked into the plans, and we really don't want to wait until two weeks out to do the run. We felt like it should be done soon. I know its an inconvenience to go in the middle of the week, and I'll even have to take the day off. The date may change between now and then, but I at the very least wanted to get the thread started. If not enough folks can make it, then it will have to be pushed out for two weeks.

If we don't do this run on Wednesday, I was just looking at the calendar, and taking into consideration VJC runs, NAXJA runs and TOR runs, the next possible date would either be
Sunday, April 1 or Saturday April 7

There are people who want to participate in this run but can't take time off during the week. Just passing this question on...

In one short phone call this morning, my whole schedule for next week went down the hopper. Due to an equipment delivery screw up by an equipment manufacturer, a major job I had scheduled for Monday, the 19th, had to be pushed to Wednesday, the 21st. Unfortunately this job requires a complete shut down of a supermarket refrigeration and air conditioning plant and I have to be on site. This just about completely rules out my ability to make the memorial run on Wednesday.

I'm not gonna be able to make this. I have a test at school tomorrow and I can't afford to make it. I'll have Roger in my thoughts.

Robb Robb, Didn't realize Roger was your dad - my condolences and love to your family. Glad you made it out to celebrate his life. I spent a bunch of time today thinking about how cool it was that we could do this in the face of such a tragedy. I'll get some pics up in a bit, I shot over 400 so it will take a bit to sort through them. Ryan

The turnout was amazing. I'm not sure the exact count, but I would guess around 25 or so rigs. They came from all over - even as far as Phoenix and Peoria.

Wish I could have made the run, but I counted at least 25 rigs before I rolled out. Pretty good turn out for a workday!

The day started at the circle K on Tanque Verde. This doesn't come close to showing the turnout. Folks played at three feathers for a bit Then we headed on down the trail There were some tough spots and the strap came out More play time in some tubs at the end of a wash The Jeeps kept taking the easy lines at three feathers on the way out, so this guy had to show off a bit ;D Oh Snap! Oops, even the best built rigs break sometimes. This pretty much wrapped up the day, good folks wheeling together and looking back on the life of a man they will miss. Lots more pictures can be found Here
